This 4 day beginner jewellery making summer school was really wonderful. I did it as a follow up to the make a ring in a day course that I already thought was awesome but this was less of a marathon and gave everyone more chances to experiment and get into the creative process. The studio space is equipped with everything you need to come up with a ring and one or two secondary projects. I felt very inspired by our instructor Emily and the creations my classmates made. It's very therapeutic when you get immersed in the process and I'm so excited to get back to this lovely studio to learn more!
This course was an amazing experience. I learnt so much and had a fantastic time. Emily is a brilliant teacher and guided us through a range of making processes clearly and thoroughly. She gave us confidence to experiment and make our own designs, while being supportive if we had any questions.
I've just completed the Jewellery Summer school for beginners and had a really wonderful time. The course was really well structured and we learnt so many different techniques. Emily's experience and knowledge was evident and she was always on hand to patiently guide us though anything that we were finding challenging. We were encouraged to be creative and she was incredibly supportive of everyone's design ideas and had the skill to help us bring our designs to life.
I did the course with an amazing bunch of women and we all had so much fun, learnt a lot from each other and walked away with such different pieces.
