This was such a fun and informative class. Emily is a wonderful teacher, who is organised and direct in guiding knowledge and the structure of the class, as well as the personal learning of each student. I am so happy with the overall outcome of my pieces, and feel comfortable and confident in continuing my wax working practice from home.
This introductory course to wax carving was absolutely brilliant.
We learnt how to carve a wax ring and all the fundamental skills on the first day. The wax rings are then sent to the metal merchants to be cast in silver and on the second day, we learnt how to clean and polish the final product. It was such an amazing feeling walking away with such a beautiful piece.
Wax is a lovely product to work with and I can't wait to do more!
Highly recommend this course at Square Peg.
