Loved everything about the course. The wax carving itself is really enjoyable process and stone setting lifts the pieces to a new level again. The four days gave plenty of time to explore ideas and techniques. Di is a great teacher - very patient and knowledgeable and skilled at sharing her experience. The class size is just right, I really enjoyed seeing the works and ideas of the other students, while still feeling we each had enough individual attention. SquarePeg is a really well-equipped studio and great space to work. This is my second course and definitely not my last.
Fantastic workshop - Di is a wonderful teacher with careful consideration to each student's design and creativity. I have learnt new skills which will enable me to create free flowing design not possible with traditional metal making. The two weekends were quite intense and very rewarding. I highly recommend this workshop.
