The wax carving for jewel setting course has been such an incredible experience.
It was great to follow on from the two day wax carving course and really extended our skills and confidence.
Plus the knowledge of the materials, carving and setting techniques and proper use of the tools has been absolutely fascinating and has really set me up to continue my practice at home.
Emily is such a great teacher, she clearly explains each process, is always at hand to offer advice and is brilliant at problem solving any issues that may arise.
I am so excited to continue carving and creating my own jewellery at home and incorporating gems into my work.
Another wonderful experience at Squarepegs! I've learned so much in my classes here. The teachers are wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable, and patient! Emily and Di were so helpful in ensuring every student learns all the skills needed, to not only create a beautiful piece of jewellery, but to ensure we all leave with the skills needed to feel confident in continuing our jewellery making journey, outside of the classroom.
I'm already looking forward to my next class!
